Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing lending program, the full-time Staff Data Scientist will build and own machine learning models for transaction classification, revenue estimation, and anomaly detection, while collaborating with Credit and Product teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models for lending decisions, focusing on transaction classification and forecasting
• Transform complex data streams into actionable insights regarding business health
• Deploy models into production with robust monitoring and documentation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building machine learning models
• Proficient in production-grade Python and SQL
• Experience with time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing models
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Possess a quantitative degree or equivalent experience
