Staff Data Systems Architect

Job Summary

To drive the systems architecture for the product data stack, the full-time remote Staff Data Systems Architect will own end-to-end design, coordinate contributions from various teams, and enforce data governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end systems design of the MyFitnessPal product data stack
• Develop and maintain the systems architecture roadmap, coordinating with Data Engineering and other teams
• Define and enforce data movement and standardization across the data stack

Required qualifications

• 8 - 12+ years in systems design, architecture, or engineering roles, including 3 - 5 years at the architect/staff level
• Experience architecting modern customer data stack integrations and product analytics tools
• Proficiency in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms, including performance tuning and access design
• Experience implementing data governance and compliance frameworks, including PII handling
• Demonstrated ability to define and enforce architecture standards across teams
