Job Summary

Key responsibilities:
- Continuously review and optimize PostgreSQL configuration parameters to enhance resource utilization
- Forecast future resource needs and propose scaling solutions based on application growth
- Design and manage monitoring dashboards and alerting systems to track key performance indicators
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with scaling and managing PostgreSQL clusters in production environments
- Expertise in designing and supporting replication and backup/recovery strategies
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and performance tuning
- Extensive experience managing large-scale PostgreSQL databases in a live production environment
- Familiarity with observability tools like DataDog or NewRelic
