Staff Decision Scientist

Job Summary

Leading advanced analytics initiatives, the full-time remote Staff Decision Scientist will own the MAU forecast and growth model, enhance experimentation standards, and advance causal inference methodologies while collaborating across teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the MAU forecast and growth model, ensuring accuracy and clarity in assumptions
• Set and uphold standards for experiment design and analysis, including metric selection and variance reduction
• Develop and document best practices for causal inference methods and mentor team members in advanced analytics techniques

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or decision science within a consumer tech environment
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Proficient in causal inference methods and experience with building and owning growth models for core business metrics
• Expertise in experiment design and analysis at scale, including experience with experimentation platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis
