Job Summary
To support innovative RFID solutions, the remote Staff Design Engineer, IC Layout will perform detailed transistor-level layouts for RF and mixed-signal circuits, collaborate with design teams on floor planning and signal distribution, and conduct layout reviews to ensure design integrity.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform detailed transistor-level layout of RF, mixed-signal, and analog circuit blocks
- Collaborate with analog and digital design teams on floor planning and signal distribution
- Conduct layout reviews for power/ground routing and signal coupling
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering with 8+ years of experience
- Experience in custom analog, RF, and mixed-signal layout
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and foundry technologies down to 16nm
- Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and layout verification tools
- Knowledge of analog layout challenges and mitigation techniques
