Staff Developer Experience Engineer
Job Summary
To shape the engineering practices at a fast-growing cybersecurity company, the full-time Staff Developer Experience Engineer will define architecture and lead initiatives for developer tooling, CI/CD, and release workflows in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the architecture and roadmap for local development, repository tooling, CI/CD, and release workflows
- Lead high-impact initiatives that standardize the path from code change to production, reducing manual coordination
- Establish standards for developer workflows and mentor engineers to improve delivery systems across the organization
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Developer Experience, Build/Release Engineering, or related fields with substantial tooling ownership
- Deep experience designing and operating CI/CD systems, preferably with GitLab CI/CD
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes-based development or delivery workflows
- Proficiency in Go and Python for automation and developer tooling
- Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives across multiple teams
