Staff DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Staff DevOps Engineer to work remotely in the US, this full-time position focuses on writing Terraform, building GitHub Actions workflows, developing internal tooling and AI agents in TypeScript, and managing production infrastructure changes daily while also providing architectural guidance and mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Eliminate toil through automation by building modules and tooling for service management and deployment
- Maintain platform health, oversee incident response, and manage on-call duties
- Optimize cloud platform costs and architect novel systems including ML workflows and video streaming
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE
- Deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript with the ability to write production-quality code
- Solid knowledge of IAM, SSO, and observability tooling
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
