Staff DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To serve as a technical anchor for the platform engineering practice, the full-time Staff DevOps Engineer will design and evolve CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS EKS, and enhance developer experience tooling in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring robust pipeline-as-code standards and artifact promotion workflows
- Own the health and evolution of AWS EKS clusters, focusing on node lifecycle, networking, and cluster upgrades
- Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and lead post-incident reviews to drive systemic fixes
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience, with at least 2 years at a Staff or Principal level in a large organization
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes EKS, including troubleshooting and cluster operations at scale
- Strong command of Azure DevOps Pipelines, including YAML authoring and environment promotion
- Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD systems for microservice architectures
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go) and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform or similar)
