Staff Engineer
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership for multiple projects, the full-time Staff Engineer will manage project delivery, mentor team members, and collaborate with project managers and clients in a fully remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Support and guide teams of developers, designers, and QA analysts to ensure project commitments are met
- Co-lead delivery projects with project managers to ensure timely and budget-conscious outcomes
- Mentor team members on development processes and effective use of AI-assisted tools
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in modern software development, including Ruby on Rails, Elixir, and Phoenix
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in a production environment
- 3+ years of experience in a consultancy setting
- Demonstrated ability in technical discovery, solution design, and estimation for client projects
