Staff Engineer
Job Summary
As a key early engineering hire, the full-time remote Staff Engineer will design and deliver foundational architecture, build full-stack features, and manage data integrations for AI agents in manufacturing production scheduling.
Key responsibilities
- Design foundational architecture, including system design, data models, and service boundaries
- Deliver full-stack products from frontend features in React to backend services using Python/FastAPI
- Build reliable data pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure during the migration from Azure to GCP
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with senior or staff-level ownership
- Strong proficiency in Python, particularly in building APIs (FastAPI preferred)
- Solid frontend development skills in React, with Next.js experience as a plus
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on GCP, Azure, or AWS, including cloud migration
- Experience building data pipelines and working with modern data platforms like Databricks
