Staff Engineer
Job Summary
To support high-impact projects in a fully remote environment, the full-time Staff Engineer will shape the technical direction of Core Backend, develop internal engineering tools, and lead complex initiatives while collaborating with a global engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape the technical direction and roadmap of Core Backend by building shared services and developer tools
- Identify common challenges and create reusable solutions to enhance developer productivity and system reliability
- Drive complex initiatives from problem discovery through implementation, coordinating work across engineers and teams
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and expertise in distributed, high-load systems
- Proven ownership of complex initiatives from design through production, including architecture decisions
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development
- Strong English proficiency and a proactive approach to ambiguous problems
