Staff Engineer
Job Summary
To drive high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, the full-time Staff Engineer will shape the technical direction of Core Backend, develop internal engineering tools, and lead complex initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Shape the technical direction and roadmap of Core Backend, building shared services and developer tools
- Identify common challenges and create reusable solutions to enhance developer productivity and system reliability
- Lead the design and evolution of shared backend capabilities, ensuring security and performance across systems
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and expertise in distributed, high-load systems
- Proven ownership of complex initiatives from design through production
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development
- Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across teams
