Staff Engineer Contract
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership on multiple projects, the full-time Staff Engineer Contract will mentor teams, co-lead project delivery, and ensure efficient technical solutions while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Support teams of developers, designers, and QA analysts, ensuring project commitments are met
- Co-lead project delivery with the Project Manager, maintaining budget and timelines
- Mentor team members on best practices for product development and AI-assisted tools
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with modern software development practices and technologies
- 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, and Phoenix, and 2+ years with Flutter and/or React Native
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in a production environment
- 3+ years in a consultancy environment, with experience in technical discovery and solution design
