Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Staff Engineer for Enterprise Systems, this remote position will manage the technical direction of critical technology layers that connect e-commerce platforms with ERP and other systems, while leading cross-functional initiatives and ensuring system reliability and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a technical leader, owning architecture and design decisions within the domain
- Lead multiple initiatives, balancing immediate delivery with long-term platform health
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and scope work on a quarterly basis
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with a modern tech stack (Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, GraphQL & REST APIs)
- Deep experience in designing and maintaining high-scale web applications and back-end integrations
- Strong system design skills with the ability to assess trade-offs and long-term impacts
- Experience or interest in platform, infrastructure, security, or domain-critical systems
- Practical experience or strong interest in using AI to enhance engineering productivity
