Staff Engineer I (Java)

Job Summary

To lead the design and development of intelligent backend services, the full-time Staff Engineer I (Java) will work remotely, focusing on Java-based systems and AI-assisted engineering to create scalable automation and decision-making solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Java-based backend services and workflow-integrated solutions
• Implement AI-enabled service capabilities for workflow automation and decision support across various platforms
• Provide technical leadership through design/code reviews, mentoring engineers, and guiding best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8-10+ years of enterprise backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs
• Experience integrating AI-driven capabilities into enterprise systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS
