Job Summary
Building robust systems to safeguard users and products, the full-time Staff Engineer, Trust & Safety will develop fraud prevention mechanisms, detect scams and abuse, and create identity compliance infrastructure in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Build real-time risk controls and decisioning systems for various financial products
- Develop models and interventions to identify malicious activities and user behavior
- Create scalable KYC and compliance systems, along with operational tools for internal teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of full-time software engineering experience
- Experience designing and operating reliable, data-intensive production systems
- Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, data pipelines, and third-party integrations
- Demonstrated interest in protecting users and building trustworthy financial products
