Staff Incident Response Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the Cyber Investigation, Response & Automation Team, the full-time Staff Incident Response Engineer will monitor security tools and systems, lead incident responses, and produce reports while working remotely in a flexible environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and correlate events in the production and regulated environments to defend against threats
• Lead responses to incidents, tracking them to closure across various functional teams
• Produce post-incident and forensic reports, as well as maintain incident response playbooks and cybersecurity standards

Required Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience
• Extensive experience in incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence
• Deep understanding of Security Operations Center protocols and procedures
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools
• Ability to analyze logs and perform forensics on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
