Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of production ML systems, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will apply advanced machine learning techniques to enhance customer experience and drive strategic initiatives in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of production ML systems, utilizing LLMs, deep learning, and classical ML techniques
• Partner with leadership to define strategic roadmaps and translate vision into actionable quarterly execution plans
• Lead high-impact ML projects from architecture through production, managing priorities, risks, and dependencies

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning and software engineering with a focus on production ML systems
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs, deep learning, graph neural networks, and strong knowledge of NLP or advanced statistics
• Strong Python skills with the ability to write maintainable, tested production code for ML services
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical standards across teams
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight in delivering business-ready outputs
