Staff Machine Learning Engineer
Job Summary
Contributing to the design and implementation of VoIP infrastructure, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will work remotely to develop AI-driven voice workloads, collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement VoIP infrastructure and observability features for AI-driven voice workloads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of voice and AI platforms
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing across telecom and AI engineering disciplines
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience building VoIP systems using SIP/RTP protocols
- Practical knowledge of Kamailio, RTPEngine, FreeSWITCH, and PSTN systems
- Experience integrating applications on top of LLMs and developing LLM-based features
- 4+ years of development experience with Python, GoLang, Java, or similar languages
- 4+ years of experience operating highly available distributed workloads on Kubernetes
