Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance VoIP infrastructure, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will design, develop, and implement telephony platforms and observability features while collaborating remotely with engineering and product teams to ensure efficient performance and seamless integration across telecom systems.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of VoIP infrastructure and AI-driven voice workloads
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable performance and integration of voice and AI platforms
• Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing across telecom and AI engineering disciplines

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with VoIP systems using SIP/RTP protocols
• Practical knowledge of Kamailio, RTPEngine, FreeSWITCH, and PSTN systems
• 4+ years of development experience with Python, GoLang, Java, or similar languages
• Experience integrating applications on top of LLMs and developing LLM-based features
• 4+ years of experience operating distributed workloads on Kubernetes following a DevOps approach
