Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative AI solutions, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will architect, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and Agentic AI systems on AWS infrastructure, focusing on healthcare data standards and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end Agentic AI systems utilizing advanced frameworks and dynamic task routing
• Design production foundation model applications with a focus on prompt engineering and tool retrieval strategies
• Build high-performance APIs and serverless architectures while ensuring HIPAA compliance and security controls for healthcare data

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on production AI/ML and Agentic systems
• Proficiency in Python stack including FastAPI, Pydantic v2, and AWS services such as Lambda and ECS Fargate
• Experience with vector search and memory solutions, particularly using OpenSearch Serverless
• Working knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR R4 and HL7 v2 is preferred
• Strong understanding of security principles including IAM and KMS
