Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading forecasting and scenario modeling, the full-time remote Staff Machine Learning Engineer will develop machine learning capabilities to help advertisers understand campaign outcomes and make informed investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate advertiser questions into models of delivery, reach, performance, and investment tradeoffs
• Combine forecasts of advertising opportunities, audience activity, and marketplace competition to estimate achievable delivery and performance
• Develop models that account for changes in budget, bid, audience, and optimization objectives, including auction dynamics

Required qualifications

• Proven experience developing predictive ML systems in advertising or similar complex domains
• Strong foundations in statistical learning, probability, and optimization with large-scale behavioral data
• Expertise in probabilistic or hierarchical forecasting, calibrated conversion prediction, or multitask learning
• Experience with challenges such as sparse observations, cold starts, and distribution shifts
• Strong programming and software engineering skills, particularly in building production ML systems
