Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the platform layer between data science and infrastructure, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will manage the feature store and build training and deployment platforms to enhance data scientists' productivity in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run and optimize the managed feature store for model training and deployment
• Develop automated training and deployment platforms to streamline data scientists' workflows
• Standardize model and feature versioning, lineage, and documentation across data science teams

Required qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience as a platform or software engineer in machine learning
• Experience with feature stores and model deployment platforms like Databricks Feature Store or Feast
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD for ML and infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Cloud expertise in AWS or Azure, along with Kubernetes and workflow orchestration
• Familiarity with model development and algorithms, with knowledge of PySpark and monitoring tools being a plus
