Staff Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary
Providing cross-functional leadership for manufacturing readiness and program execution, the full-time Staff Manufacturing Engineer will connect manufacturing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution-ready diagnostic manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Represent Manufacturing in technical discussions regarding capability, readiness, and operational requirements
- Define business requirements for digital tools and develop workflows to enhance operational visibility and execution
- Lead readiness reviews and coordinate manufacturing transitions for new products and processes
Required qualifications
- PhD in Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Typically 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, diagnostics, or biopharma environments
- Demonstrated experience in cross-functional manufacturing readiness and technology transfer
- Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP principles and manufacturing documentation
- Experience in developing scalable digital workflows and dashboards
