Staff Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support the GIS Network Engineering team, the full-time remote Staff Network Engineer will design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade network infrastructure across global data centers and cloud environments, focusing on hybrid cloud connectivity and network automation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across GCP, on-premises, and hybrid cloud environments
- Manage cloud networking technologies including VPCs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, and load balancing
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and network automation solutions using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience supporting complex, multi-site environments
- Experience with GCP networking, including VPCs, Cloud Router, and hybrid connectivity
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Terraform Associate
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD pipelines
