Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To define and lead platform engineering strategy across complex, multi-environment cloud systems, the remote Staff Platform Engineer will manage infrastructure architecture, drive DevSecOps practices, and mentor engineers while ensuring platform reliability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Define DevOps strategy and lead infrastructure architecture across multi-environment, multi-region cloud systems
- Own infrastructure as code strategy and standards while driving platform reliability and performance SLAs
- Lead complex cloud migrations and modernization initiatives, ensuring compliance and security best practices
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional DevOps or platform engineering experience with a focus on leading complex initiatives
- Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration, along with strong IaC skills across multiple tools
- Deep cloud expertise across at least one major platform and strong CI/CD architecture experience at scale
- Experience with AI/ML platform infrastructure, including model serving and deployment
- Demonstrated leadership and technical mentoring experience within a team or organization
