Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning technical challenges across systems, the full-time remote Staff Platform Engineer will lead multi-quarter programs, set technical direction for the platform, and enhance team capabilities through mentorship and hands-on development.
Key responsibilities
- Lead multi-quarter initiatives that integrate cloud accounts, CI/CD, identity, and artifact management
- Set technical direction through design documents and build consensus across Engineering and Security teams
- Define service reliability, including service levels, alerting, and on-call design for the platform's services
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud or infrastructure engineering, or related fields
- Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes)
- Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple systems from proposal to completion
- Knowledge of reliability and security design, including access models and incident response
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
