Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To lead the design and evolution of internal platform ecosystems, the full-time Staff Platform Engineer will define platform architecture, establish engineering standards, and enhance developer experience while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve target architecture for cloud-native platforms on AWS, including network topology and scalable systems
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS network architectures and establish network security controls
- Act as a technical authority, mentoring teams and leading complex cross-team initiatives in platform engineering and cloud architecture
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture, with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes
- Proven experience designing multi-account and hybrid network architectures in AWS
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform
- Strong understanding of microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures
