Staff Product Designer
Job Summary
Leading the design of a conversational AI platform, the full-time Staff Product Designer will define UI patterns, conduct user research, and collaborate with product teams to ship the first version of the platform on WhatsApp and expand to native iOS and Android.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery across products to understand user behavior and improve engagement
- Define design principles for generative and declarative UI while shipping version one of the platform
- Collaborate with squad designers to set direction for product conversations and ensure compliance is integrated into the design
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience designing consumer products, including 2 years leading design on conversational or AI-native products
- Proven track record of leading discovery across product teams and influencing design direction
- Hands-on experience with declarative UI and familiarity with generative UI concepts
- Deep proficiency in Figma and experience prototyping in code with at least two mobile products shipped end to end
- Fluent in Spanish and advanced English, with strong communication skills
