Staff Product Designer
Job Summary
Defining the design approach for a generative and declarative UI, the full-time Staff Product Designer will lead the discovery process across products, ship the first version on WhatsApp, and set the direction for user conversations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery across products by analyzing user behavior and making findings actionable
- Define design patterns for generative and declarative UI while shipping version 1 of the platform
- Collaborate with squad designers to ensure cohesive product experiences and compliance integration
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience designing consumer products, including 2 years in conversational or AI-native design
- Proven track record of leading product discovery and influencing design direction based on research
- Hands-on experience with declarative UI and familiarity with generative UI concepts
- Deep proficiency in Figma and experience prototyping in code, with at least two mobile products shipped end to end
- Fluency in Spanish and advanced English, with strong communication skills
