Staff Product Designer
Job Summary
To shape the user experience for a conversational AI platform, the full-time Staff Product Designer will lead the design of generative and declarative UI, conducting research and prototyping while collaborating with product managers and engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery across products to understand user behavior and improve retention
- Define design patterns for generative and declarative UI while shipping the first version on WhatsApp
- Collaborate with squad designers to ensure cohesive user experiences across various product offerings
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience designing consumer products, including 2 years on conversational or AI-native products
- Proven track record of leading discovery and influencing product direction through research
- Hands-on experience with declarative UI and familiarity with generative UI concepts
- Strong proficiency in Figma and experience prototyping in code, with at least two mobile products shipped end to end
- Portfolio showcasing conversational or generative UI projects with visible reasoning required
