Job Summary
Focusing on complex product challenges, the full-time remote Staff Product Engineer will take ownership of ambiguous problems from inception to launch, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead technical decisions across the software stack.
Key responsibilities
- Own important, ambiguous problems from initial framing through launch and iteration, ensuring accountability for results
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to shape priorities and define success metrics
- Lead technical decisions regarding architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability across teams and systems
Required qualifications
- Proven experience leading complex work across teams or systems with impactful outcomes
- Strong backend engineering experience with the capability to make end-to-end technical decisions
- Ability to influence peers and align teams without formal authority
- Experience using metrics and experimentation to guide decisions and enhance production systems
- Regular hands-on experience with AI throughout the software development lifecycle
