Staff Product Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Product Engineer will build and ship full-stack features for Thunderbolt, an open-source AI client, while collaborating with technical partners and enterprise customers to ensure successful deployments and customizations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features, integrations, and customer-specific customizations in the Thunderbolt codebase
• Work directly with technical partners and enterprise customers to understand their environments and translate requirements into technical plans
• Diagnose and fix complex issues across the application and infrastructure, maintaining customer-specific customizations as the core product evolves

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on building and shipping production applications
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, including modern TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with APIs and integrations
• Experience working directly with customers or partners in a technical capacity, including coding and deployment
• Familiarity with AI-enabled applications and enterprise deployment concerns, such as authentication and access control
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
