Staff Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Staff Product Security Engineer will perform security assessments, develop security features for hardware and software products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product security throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Develops new hardware and software security features and updates existing products to maintain security
• Conducts security assessments, including vulnerability and risk assessments, threat analysis, and security code reviews
• Identifies remediation for security risks, responds to product security incidents, and assists customers with security-related issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years of experience
• Experience in Security Engineering or related work experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or System Verilog
• Experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability analyses
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
