Staff Project Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction for large-scale grid-connected projects, the full-time remote Staff Project Engineer will manage project definitions, provide technical integration across disciplines, and support interconnection efforts to ensure compliance and efficiency in deploying linear generator technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical definition and direction of assigned projects, including site layouts and equipment selection
- Serve as the technical integrator across various engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance and collaboration
- Provide technical support to the interconnection team, reviewing feasibility studies and advising on agreements
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, with a preference for power systems emphasis
- 8+ years of relevant experience as a project engineer or power systems engineer, including experience with grid-scale projects
- Proven expertise in medium-voltage distribution and protection system design
- Familiarity with power generation industry standards and regulations, including NEC and IEEE
- Strong understanding of power system studies and the ability to interpret results from relevant software tools
