Staff QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the architecture and evolution of scalable automation capabilities, the full-time remote Staff QA Automation Engineer will own the long-term strategy for automation frameworks and quality engineering standards, leveraging AI to enhance software reliability and accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and multi-year roadmap for the enterprise automation ecosystem, ensuring scalable and maintainable capabilities across various testing types
• Define automation architecture and quality engineering strategy for new platforms and initiatives, establishing reusable framework components and engineering standards
• Lead performance testing strategy and optimize automated execution pipelines to improve deployment confidence and reduce operational risk

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least twelve years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or quality engineering, with a proven track record in leading enterprise automation strategy
• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js, particularly in designing automation frameworks
• Advanced expertise in performance engineering and cloud-based development platforms, including Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Preferred experience with AI-assisted testing technologies and industry-recognized certifications in relevant fields
