Staff QA Engineer
Job Summary
To lead quality assurance efforts for an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform, the full-time Staff QA Engineer will own comprehensive testing strategies, mentor junior QA engineers, and ensure high standards of functionality, performance, and reliability across critical healthcare software systems while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional test plans and cases for EMR modules and web applications
- Conduct load and performance testing, identifying bottlenecks and providing optimization recommendations
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish QA standards, processes, and quality metrics for the team
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional QA experience, including 3 years in a staff or lead QA role
- Proven expertise in functional testing methodologies and load testing tools
- Strong understanding of EMR systems, healthcare workflows, and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with test automation frameworks and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
