Staff Research Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the harness for RRI, the full-time Staff Research Engineer will build and evolve a Python multi-agent runtime, contribute to applied research on agent behavior, and create evaluation infrastructure while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the Python multi-agent runtime orchestration and related components
- Design and run experiments to improve agent performance and ship effective changes
- Deliver a robust evaluation infrastructure that measures and scores changes to the agents
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building production software with strong Python skills
- Experience with LLMs in agentic loops, including tool calling and context management
- Comfort debugging across process, container, and network boundaries, particularly in Kubernetes and GPU environments
- Fluency in machine learning concepts, including understanding training scripts and ranking metrics
- Demonstrated accountability for system reliability and observability
