Staff Scheduling Associate
Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the Staff Scheduling Associate will manage staffing and scheduling adjustments for nursing units, ensuring appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios while providing customer service support to caregivers during night shifts from 11:30pm to 8:00am.
Key responsibilities
- Review and communicate staffing levels with management to meet quality patient care needs
- Proactively generate and review 24-hour staffing projections and seek coverage for shifts
- Utilize multiple computer systems to document schedule changes and communicate with nursing leadership
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of customer service experience, or an Associate's Degree (substituting for up to 1 year of experience), or a Bachelor's Degree (substituting for up to 2 years of experience)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and database software
- Ability to perform manual data entry and sit for extended periods
- Experience in staffing or scheduling is preferred
