Staff Scheduling Associate
Job Summary
Working part-time in a remote capacity, the Staff Scheduling Associate will manage staffing and scheduling adjustments for nursing units, ensuring optimal nurse-to-patient ratios while providing customer service support to caregivers.
Key responsibilities
- Review and communicate staffing levels with management to meet patient care needs
- Generate and assess 24-hour staffing projections and seek coverage for shifts as needed
- Utilize multiple computer systems to document schedule changes and communicate with nursing leadership
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of customer service experience, or an Associate's Degree (substituting for 1 year of experience), or a Bachelor's Degree (substituting for 2 years of experience)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and database software
- Ability to work evenings, every other weekend, and holidays as required
- Experience with staffing/scheduling preferred but not mandatory
- Manual dexterity for data entry and ability to sit for extended periods
