Staff Security Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Security Operations team, the full-time Staff Security Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure in Azure, focusing on security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure in Azure and AWS, utilizing Terraform, Kusto, and Airflow
• Lead initiatives to onboard new security telemetry and identify visibility gaps across the organization
• Establish data governance practices for security telemetry, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical security data

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security analysis, security research, cyber security, or security engineering, or equivalent educational experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-scale Azure infrastructure
• 3+ years of deep experience with Kusto, KQL, Apache Airflow, Terraform, and Python in production environments
• 2+ years of experience leading complex initiatives across organizational boundaries
