Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a key contributor in a full-time role, the Staff Security Engineer I will manage the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, oversee endpoint security and cloud security initiatives, and drive automation efforts while working remotely or from the Dallas office.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the CrowdStrike Falcon stack, managing sensor health, policies, and updates across a multi-cloud environment
• Lead the deployment and integration of new security tools, ensuring effective administration from proof-of-concept to production
• Automate processes using Fusion SOAR and scripting to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering or a related infrastructure/operations role
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon or a comparable EDR/XDR platform
• Working knowledge of SIEM/log management concepts, preferably with NGSIEM/LogScale or similar platforms
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI)
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
