Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the security of systems relied upon by the workforce, the full-time Staff Security Engineer will focus on engineering and maturing security controls for endpoints and email, while working remotely and collaborating closely with Security Operations and other teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer security controls for macOS and Windows devices, including device management and patch compliance
• Manage email security for Google Workspace, implementing defenses against phishing and data loss
• Write security standards and configuration baselines, contributing to audit readiness and mentoring other engineers

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering with a proven track record of ownership of outcomes
• Deep expertise in endpoint and email security, including MDM/MAM deployment
• Experience with enterprise browser platforms and implementing CIS Benchmarks at scale
• Familiarity with cloud security fundamentals and network security practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
