Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the design and delivery of strategic security services, the full-time remote Staff Security Engineer will manage the integration of physical security systems, oversee multi-domain security services, and collaborate with software engineers and partners to ensure robust security outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and integration of physical security systems, including access control and video management platforms
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of security services across various domains, ensuring operational excellence and proactive risk management
• Provide clear status updates and manage stakeholder expectations, driving technical decisions and mentoring team members

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in security or infrastructure engineering, with 4+ years leading multi-team technical programs
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Security Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Expertise with cloud-based services and infrastructure, particularly AWS
• Hands-on experience with enterprise access control and video platforms and their integrations
• Strong project planning and execution skills, including familiarity with JIRA and technical design reviews
