Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical efforts of the Security Blue Team, the full-time Staff Security Engineer will work remotely from Northern Ireland to enhance security defenses, mentor team members, and manage initiatives focused on risk identification and mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coach the Blue Team on Information Protection, Incident Detection and Response, and Service Delivery
• Provide strategic and technical oversight to the security program and lead a team of engineers and analysts in threat detection and response
• Oversee the Information Protection and Vulnerability Management programs, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of security tools and practices

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in security engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of web application and API security principles
• Experience with threat hunting and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies relevant to cloud-based services
• Ability to mentor and elevate the skills of team members
