Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the full-time Staff Security Engineer will develop security tooling, collaborate with DevSecOps teams on cloud-native security policies, and participate in threat intelligence exercises while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security tooling, guidelines, and standards for the Security Engineering team
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to author cloud-native security policies and automate vulnerability mitigation
• Participate in threat intelligence and forensic analysis to predict and prevent security attacks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, security, or related fields
• Experience with modern source control and ticketing tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, OCSP, CEH, or similar
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and security tools, CNAPP platforms, and SIEM platforms
