Staff Security Engineer

Job Summary

To define and strengthen the trust architecture connecting devices, customers, and a cloud platform, the full-time Staff Security Engineer will manage security architecture, PKI, and device identity while collaborating with engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage PKI on GCP, including certificate profiles and key ceremonies
• Architect and secure device-to-cloud communications, ensuring robust authorization and protection against threats
• Build threat models and conduct security assessments across devices, apps, and cloud systems

Required qualifications

• BS or MS in computer science, information security, or cryptography, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in security engineering with expertise in PKI, identity, and cloud security architecture
• Strong experience with GCP security tools and protocols, including IAM and Workload Identity Federation
• Hands-on skills in secure device communication and embedded security practices
• Proficiency in threat modeling and offensive security techniques, with coding experience in Python or Go
