Staff Security Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning a major technical workstream, the full-time remote Staff Security Software Engineer will design and ship production-grade AI agents and platform capabilities, focusing on AI threat detection and security standards across various security functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, ship, and operate production AI agents for security teams, starting with AI threat detection at scale
• Build and harden a shared platform for safe and reliable agent deployment, ensuring observability and security best practices
• Lead design reviews and mentor mid-level engineers while driving continuous improvement in AI security tooling quality and reliability

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software or security engineering with demonstrated technical leadership on significant workstreams
• Expert-level proficiency in Python for production systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with modern agentic frameworks and LLM tooling such as LangChain and Hugging Face
• Depth of knowledge in production-AI dimensions, including agent architecture, operations, and AI quality evaluation
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality security tooling relied upon by other teams in production
