Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Owning and evolving the engineering-wide reliability strategy, the full-time Staff Site Reliability Engineer will lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance observability, incident response, and operational readiness while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve the SRE strategy, aligning it with customer impact and business priorities
- Lead cross-functional alignment to improve reliability and operational readiness across multiple teams
- Establish standards for service ownership, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services
Required qualifications
- Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems in production environments
- Deep knowledge of reliability engineering, observability, and incident management
- Experience in establishing SLIs, SLOs, and actionable alerts
- Backend experience with automation tools like Python and Terraform
- Experience operating production services in AWS and Kubernetes
