Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Site Reliability Engineer will set technical direction for infrastructure and core systems, ensuring availability, stability, and scalability of the SaaS product while collaborating with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure changes and maintain scalable cloud environments using code-driven provisioning and scripting
- Provide architectural guidance across multiple public cloud providers and lead technical evaluations and proofs-of-concept
- Own observability across system components and participate in incident response and on-call rotations
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems administration, with at least 3 years in a dedicated DevOps/SRE role
- Production experience with managed Kubernetes on at least two major cloud providers
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure-as-code and remote state management
- Hands-on experience with GitOps delivery tooling and automation in a scripting language
- Experience leading incident resolution and applying cloud cost optimization strategies
